WTF Moments

My WTF moment for today is... While riding in to work on the bus there was a million people standing in the front door like they were bowling pins or some sh!+. An I'm like WTF don't you see I'm a big girl get the FCUK (Foreign Connection United Kingdom google it if you don't know...lol) out the way. What's your WTF moment...

True Friendships???

What makes a friend a friend? Do we weigh our friendships on how often a person calls or visits? Or is friendship measured by ones level of attentiveness? I expect my "friends" to be all that I am to them... comforting when I'm down, the voice of reason when I'm my lower self, my strength when I'm weak, my shelter when I need refuge. Talk to me...

God Bless the Child

Having a child can be a blessing as well as a curse, but what are the determining factors? Do we as parents take responsibility for the success/failure of our children? It is my opinion that behavior is learned... that said what behaviors our we demonstrating to our children. I can't you the joy I felt watching my son at the age of 2 opening books and reading, especially when I read to him in the womb (smiling). I also can reflect on the times that my son exuded undesirable behavior such as cursing. The shocking part was when he said in his defense that, "You said if I could spell it, I could say it B. I. T. C. H". Speak on it

Valentine's Day

So is it so far fetched that couples don't celebrate the big V-day? In my opinion... I believe that holidays are meant to be celebrated. It has been my tradition to make the best of these days on my own terms... even if it means NOT spending them with the man of my choice. The best V-day's I ever had were when I was amongst friends. I didn't have to worry about a weak as$ man starting an argument because his dumb _$$ forgot or just didn't get a gift. I know its trifling but hey that's the cards that we are sometimes dealt. What's your take on this???

Why are the children of today so angry?

I believe that a considerable amount of children today do not know the value of education and lack the social skills that are required to function in society. In my opinion, today's youth are too involved in physical appearance, lust, gossip, undesirable behavior, and underachievement to care about themselves. It's sad because they are the future of world and they don't even know it. Lets hear your point of view...

Lack Of Home Training

Why is it that kids these days act as if they have no home training? Back in my day... you came to your friends house and they entertained you in the living room or their bedroom. You most definately didn't go parading through their houses, making sandwiches, roaming through the refrigerator, and snooping through their bathrooms. I came in my house and its people in my bathroom curling their hair and all kinds of crazy shit. Speak on it...
